The Saint John Sea Dogs got there second straight victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and improved to 2-0. The Titan are now 0-2 on the season and have been outscored 10-3 in two games.

Alex Leduc scored the shootout winner in the third round. Scoring for Saint John in regulation was Kevin Gagne, Danick Gauthier, and Scott Oke. Nicholas Pard also had two goals.

Richard Tingley helped Nicholas Spear get the win in net, both playing 30 minutes.
