SNUBBED AGIAN

We were robbed. Despite having 28 wins – 20 of them being consecutive – the Canadian Hockey League snubbed the Saint John Sea Dogs for the third straight week. The Sea Dogs sit second for a third straight week in Week 13 of the BMO CHL Mastercard CHL rankings.

The Windsor Spitfires hold on to the number one spot despite losing to the below .500 Oshawa Generals in a shootout on Sunday. Windsor is lead by former Sea Dog third string goaltender Troy Passingham, who is credited with 23 of the Spits wins.

The Sea Dogs organization will never let on that the ranking bothers them, but you have to believe they are getting a bit frustrated. The Sea Dogs will look to this as motivation this weekend with a tough three-in-three through the Atlantic division.

Week 13 of the BMO CHL MasterCard Top Ten Rankings can be found below:
1 – Windsor Spitfires, OHL (25-3-0-4)
2 – Saint John Sea Dogs, QMJHL (28-4-1-0)

  1. If rankings are based on win percentage and Saint John has .848, while Windsor has .844, then why on earth are we (Saint John) still in second place???

  2. These rankings are not based on winning percentage. The rankings that I make myself are based on winning percentage (hope to have that up later BTW).

The CHL Top 10 are just scouts opinions.
