SEA DOGS REMAIN THIRD

For the second straight week, the Saint John Sea Dogs sit third in the BMO CHL Mastercard Top 10 Rankings.

The Sea Dogs played only one game this week after their Saturday match in Bathurst was postponed due to poor weather. On Sunday afternoon, Saint John defeated the Moncton Wildcats 9-7 in an eventful and bizarre contest at the Moncton Coliseum.

Saint John is tied with the Quebec Remaprts for first place overall in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with 40 points. The Dogs now have a six point lead first place in the Maritime Division.

The Remparts remain fourth in the Canadian Hockey League Top 10 this week. The Montreal come in at #7. The Lewiston MAINEiacs were an honourable mention.

This week, Saint John plays host to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday and the Halifax Mooseheads on Sunday.
