WAYNE LONG WINS AWARD

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. – Saint John Sea Dogs president Wayne Long was honoured at the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Draft in Victoriaville today.

Long won with the John-Horman trophy as the league's administrator of the year.

He joins defenseman Simon Despres, goaltender Jacob DeSerres, head coach Gerard Gallant, and hockey operations director Mike Kelly as members of the organization who won league awards this past season.

Lucie Cloutier and Yves Cinq-Mars of the Quebec Remparts were awarded the Jean-Sawyer trophy as the top marketing team of the year.

Also, the first ever winner of the Denis Arsenault trophy - which was named after the architect of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League scholastic policy - was presented to Rimouski Océanic academic advisor Rodrigue Landry.
