  2. Congratulations to the Sea Dogs on the Double. There have been Maritime President's Cup Champions but there has never been a Memorial Cup Champion east of Quebec. On such a night, it is absolutely painful to see the empty seats in the picture. This proud Hockey City should be ashamed.

  3. That pic must have been taken late in the game. It was packed tonight.

  5. Anounnced attendance was 5,888. The largest crowd of the season as far as I could tell, but I do concur, it is embarassing that the place wasn't completely full tonight, or that we don't see this many out to more than 2/3 games a year. Huberdeau, Phillips, Galiev, & Jurco will most likely not be back next year. Better see 'em while you can, cause once they're in the NHL it'll cost you at least $170 a ticket, + gas, + a room. If you are not coming out to see this wonderful team more than once or twice a year, you will regret it later when they're gone to the bigs as these guys are really something special, don't miss out. Especially those folks that call yourself hockey fans, this is the best live hockey (any level) you will ever see, & it's here in our backyard.

  6. The bare area seats in this pic are always empty!!! The only time they are occupied is Irving $5 night or giveaway nights or complete sell out!!! This was an awesome crowd and loud thank god. you could have slept through the game Friday it was so quiet!!The marketing of this team is horrendous and its time to stop blaming the fans for not coming and sit down and find out WHY!!!!

  7. Marketing?? The games are advertised on the radio constantly. It's in the Telegraph Journal every game. Signs are all over town. Players are involved in the community. What more do you want?
And they did the best advertising in May..... they brought home the Memorial Cup!!!!
If a person wants to see hockey they will be there game after game. The bandwagoners will be back again in April ;)
