Training Camp Continues Today

SAINT JOHN – As the pre-season nears, the Saint John Sea Dogs continue training camp this morning at Harbour Station.

The roster, which mostly features fresh faces, has been split in half. The rosters for each squad were released by the Sea Dogs on Tuesday.

Here is today’s schedule of events.

10:00 – 10:45                       Group A practice                  Group B off ice workout
11:00 – 11:45                       Group A vs Group B Scrimmage
12:00 – 12:45                       Group B practice                  Group A off ice workout

Tomorrow, the Sea Dogs will play their first of seven Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season games. Saint John will host the PEI Rocket at 7:30pm at Quispamsis’ qplex. There will be a special pre-game ceremony to unveil the Sea Dogs’ new third jersey.

Non-dressing players will practice at Harbour Station on Friday morning. The full schedule for the first week of training camp can be found here. All of it is open to the public.

The Sea Dogs and Rocket will meet again on Saturday afternoon in Pownal, PEI.

The QMJHL's pre-season officially begins tonight with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar visiting the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
