SAINT JOHN – Another riveting day of Sea Dogs Training
Camp action is ahead.
Here is today’s schedule of events:
10:00 – 10:45am: Group A practice/Group B off ice workout
11:00 – 11:45am: Group A vs Group B Scrimmage
12:00 – 12:45pm: Group B practice/Group A off ice workout

In yesterday’s scrimmage, Group B defeated Group A fairly
easily. Antoine Landry and Joel Daccord were both good in net. Several other players
stood out in a good way, including Saint John’s top picks in the past two
drafts – Matthew Highmore and Nathan Noel. Both players showed off some speed and skill.
The Sea Dogs take on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan this
weekend in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season play. They meet on
Saturday night in Quispamsis and on Sunday afternoon in Bathurst. The first
round of cuts will likely be made early next week.
