No Price Increase For Telus Webcasts

Another Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season is here which means it’s time for another year of Telus webcast fun.

Fortunately for all of us, the Telus webcasts did not increase in price once again this year.

According to the prices listed on their webcast, it will cost you $6.95 to purchase a single live game and $1.95 for a single archived match.

The first package Telus is offering is for every QMJHL game this season - live and archived. The package also includes all playoff games. The cost is $199.95.

Package B will get you every game of a single team – live and archived. The package also includes archives of all league games. It does not include playoffs. The cost is $149.95.

These pricing options are the same as they've been over the past few years.

According to the league, “all games are available free of charge to TELUS high-speed Internet customers.”

No idea if the quality of the webcasts are going to be any better this season, but if they are, the league didn’t mention it on their website. We’ll find out Thursday when the QMJHL regular season begins in Halifax.
