GAMEDAY 63 - vs Wildcats

A preview of tonight’s game between the Moncton Wildcats and Saint John Sea Dogs…

Records: The Wildcats are third in the Telus Maritimes Division and 12th overall in the QMJHL with a 30-30-0-3 record for 63 points. The Sea Dogs are sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division and 17th overall with a 19-38-2-3 record for 43 points.

Last games: The Wildcats are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday night at the Coliseum. Alex Dubeau allowed four goals on 32 shots. The Sea Dogs are coming off a 3-1 loss in Bathurst on Sunday. Jason Cameron had Saint John’s only goal.

2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 3-5-0-0 against the Wildcats this season while Moncton is 5-3-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: February 14th at Harbour Station where the Wildcats defeated the Sea Dogs 4-1. Christophe Lalonde had two goals.

Random stat: Since reporting to the Wildcats, Vladimir Tkachev has seven goals and 15 assists in 15 games. This will be his second career game against the Sea Dogs.
