A preview of tonight’s game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles…

Records: The Sea Dogs are sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division and 17th overall in the QMJHL with a record of 19-41-2-3 for 43 points. The Screaming Eagles are second in the Telus Maritimes Division and ninth overall with a record of 35-26-1-3 for 74 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 7-4 loss in Bathurst on Sunday. Saint John had a four-goal first period lead but allowed seven unanswered in the final two periods. The Screaming Eagles are coming off a 5-1 win over the Moncton Wildcats on Sunday. Three different Eagles had a goal and an assist.

2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 3-3-1-1 against the Screaming Eagles this season while Cape Breton is 5-3-0-0 against Saint John.
