Jack Eichel tweeted tonight that he has signed a letter of intent to play college hockey at Boston University next season.As Mike McMahon noted on Twitter, the signing shows Eichel's commitment to play NCAA hockey ay BU but, from a Sea Dogs and QMJHL perspective, doesn't change much. He could still jump ship at any time and play junior.
On News 95.7 tonight, Sea Dogs general manager Darrell Young once again said he is open to trading Eichel's rights. Logic says the Memorial Cup hosting Quebec Remparts will have interest.
