Canadian Camps Continue

It appears Luke Green is making a decent impression at Canada’s under-17 development camp.

Green, selected first overall by Saint John in May’s QMJHL Entry Draft, has been taking part in the camp this week in Calgary. The camp continues today and ends tomorrow with every team in action.

The Sea Dogs defensive prospect is on Team Blue and helped them win their opening game 5-4 over Team Black on Friday.
Blue takes on Team Red later today.

Saint John’s other first round draft pick from this summer’s draft, forward Julien Tessier, is also taking part in the camp. Tessier’s Team Green is 0-2 following a 5-1 loss to Team White on Thursday and another 5-1 defeat to Team Gold on Friday.

Canada’s under-18 selection camp, which features Sea Dogs forward Nathan Noel, began yesterday in Calgary and concludes on Tuesday. There will be three Red-White games at the camp with the first one taking place this evening. Noel is on Team White.

All of these games can be seen for free on the Hockey Canada website.
