LeBlanc Named To Team QMJHL

Sea Dogs captain Olivier LeBlanc has been named to the QMJHL’s roster for the 2014 Subway Super Series.

LeBlanc was the only Sea Dogs player named to this year’s roster. The Columbus Blue Jackets prospect has two goals and six assists in 11 games with Saint John this season.

And remember, before complaining that Sebastien Auger should have been named to this year’s team, this is a tournament used by Hockey Canada to evaluate players for the world juniors. Auger is 20 and not eligible for the world juniors.

Team QMJHL takes on Team Russia on Nov. 18 in Bathurst and on Nov. 20 in Rimouski.
