GAMEDAY 17: vs Screaming Eagles

A preview of tonight’s game between the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and Saint John Sea Dogs…

Records: The Screaming Eagles are fourth in the Maritimes Division and 14th overall in the QMJHL with a record of 7-9-1-1 for 16 points. The Sea Dogs are first in the Maritimes and third overall with a 10-3-0-3 record for 23 points.

Last games: These two met on Thursday night in Sydney with the Sea Dogs winning a wild one, 6-5. Adam Marsh had two goals for Saint John while singles came from Olivier LeBlanc, Thomas Chabot, Matthew Highmore and Samuel Dove-McFalls. Evgeny Svechnikov had a hat trick for Cape Breton while Maxim Lazarev and Loik Leveille added solo markers. Blade Mann-Dixon made 29 saves in the win. Miguel Sullivan and Francois Brassard combined to allow six goals on 31 shots.
