GAME DAY: 2015 Wallace McCain Memorial Alumni Reunion

A preview of today’s 2015 Wallace McCain Memorial Alumni Reunion game…

When and where: Today at 2 p.m., Harbour Station

Last game: The last alumni game took place on Aug. 24, 2013 at Harbour Station where the Sea Dogs were edged 7-6 in a shootout by the UNB Varsity Reds alumni team. Brett Gallant, Pierre Durepos, Keven Charland, Alexnadre Leduc, Simon Despres and Ryan Sparling had regulation time goals for the Sea Dogs. Jason Churchill and Robert Mayer split duties in net.

Roster: Sea Dogs alumni will make up both teams this year. Here are all the players that will be participating:

Tickets: $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and youth, taxes and fees included. Children 3-and-under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the usual outlets.

Funding: Proceeds from the event will go to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, New Brunswick Chapter. During the game there will be a silent auction while an autograph session will follow the match. At 8 p.m. there will be a live auction and reception at Rocky’s Sports Bar.

Training camp: Players begin to report to training camp tomorrow and hit the ice on Monday. Their first pre-season game is on Thursday night at Harbour Station against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
