Kealey Off To Austria

According to Alex Kealey, Alex Kealey is soon heading overseas.

The 17-year-old forward played in only two pre-season games with the Sea Dogs this year, recording one assist and seven penalty minutes.

The Ottawa native joined Saint John last year but played in just two games with the Dogs because of body soreness from a significant growth spurt. Kealey was held pointless in those two games.

According to Elite Prospects, Kealey also spent time with the OEMHL’s Ottawa Senators Midget AAA team and the CCHL’s Smiths Falls Bears last season.

Saint John’s pre-season has come to an end. They’ll open the regular season on Sept. 12 at Harbour Station against the Halifax Mooseheads.
