SAINT JOHN – The Sea Dogs have trimmed
their training camp roster to 27.
The team announced today the
reassignment of seven players. They are:
D Isaac McGraw
D Kyle Anderson
F Will Kelly
F Ben Reid – 2015, 7th round
F Peter Drohan
F Alexandre Lafreniere – 2015, 11th
round
F Michael Veleno
According to a Sea Dogs news release, Lafreniere
will join the NB/PEI Major Midget Hockey League’s Saint John Vito’s while
Veleno, the brother of Joe Veleno, will join the St. Stephen County Aces of the
Maritime Junior ‘A’ Hockey League.

Today’s roster cuts leave Saint John
with three goalies, eight defenseman and 16 forwards at camp.
The Sea Dogs travel to Bathurst to take on the Titan in pre-season action tomorrow night. Several regular/returning players should get their first playing action of the season.
