GAME DAY 21: at Quebec

A preview of tonight’s game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Quebec Remparts…

When and where: Tonight at 8 p.m., Videotron Centre

Records: The Sea Dogs are third in the Maritimes Division and ninth overall in the QMJHL with a record of 11-8-1-0 for 23 points. The Remparts are second in the East Division and sixth overall with an 11-8-2-0 record for 24 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 3-2 loss in Drummondville last night. Thomas Chabot and Nathan Noel scored while Alex Bishop made 24 saves in the loss. The Remparts are coming off an 8-2 loss in Shawinigan last night. Nikolas Brouillard and Bronson Beaton scored for Quebec. Julian Galloway allowed four goals on 13 shots and Samuel Cardinal allowed four goals on 15 shots.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs were 0-1-0-1 against the Remparts last season while Quebec went 2-0-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Nov. 12, 2014 at Colisee Pepsi where the Remparts shutout the Sea Dogs 3-0. Marc-Olivier Roy, Guillaume Gauthier and Kurt Etchegary scored for Quebec. Callum Booth stopped all 26 shots he faced in the win while Sebastien Auger made 31 stops in the loss.
