The Sea Dogs have reportedly claimed a couple players off waivers.

Mikael Lalancette tweets that the team has picked up 18-year-old defenseman Matt Paul and 18-year-old forward Cole Reginato.
Paul, a sixth-round pick of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft, has played in 17 career QMJHL games over the past three seasons. He played in two games with the Eagles at the start of this season. In 22 games with the MHL’s Amherst Ramblers this year, the 6’0” and 171 lbs d-man has one goal and nine assists in 22 games.

In his first QMJHL season, Reginato has two goals and two assists in 24 games with Cape Breton. He fought Saint John’s Alex Bernier last Sunday at Centre 200. The 5’9” and 180 lbs forward played with the MHL’s Yarmouth Mariners last year.
