Sea Dogs further reduce camp roster

The Sea Dogs reduced their training camp roster again on Monday.

The following players were cut from the team's rookie camp roster:

F Etienne Croteau

F Cody Grant

F Kevin Mason

F Ben Reade

D Jonathan Mason

D Jack McGovern
D Michael Waugh

Main camp started on Monday at Harbour Station. According to the team, "there are now 47 players in the Sea Dogs main training camp (25 forwards, 17 defencemen, 5 goalies)."

The Sea Dogs went 0-3 at the Hub City Showcase over the weekend, finishing in last place at the Maritimes Division rookie tournament. The team plays its first "real" pre-season game on Wednesday in Bathurst against the Titan.

Saint John plays at home on Friday against Cape Breton and on Sunday against Bathurst.
