Alumdate: Povorozniouk finding scoring touch in ECHL

After being held scoreless in his first two professional games, Sam Povorozniouk has scored four goals in his past four contests with the East Coast Hockey League's Missouri Mavericks.

In total, Povorozniouk has four goals and an assist in six games with the Mavericks this season. He scored his first ECHL goal - his first of two in the game - on Oct. 28 in Brampton.

The 21-year-old played his overage season in Saint John last year, recording 39 goals and 23 assists in 68 games. He added 14 goals and 11 assists in 17 playoff matches.

Povorozniouk is one of four former Sea Dogs playing in the ECHL this season. Here's a look at how they're all doing.
