GAME DAY 22: at Bathurst

The Saint John Sea Dogs (13-6-2-0, 1st Maritimes, 2nd QMJHL) are on the road tonight in Bathurst to battle the Titan (9-10-1-1, 5th Maritimes, 14th QMJHL). Game time is 8 p.m. at the KC Irving Regional Centre.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 7-2 home win over the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Saturday. Bokondji Imama scored four goals while Mathieu Joseph had three in the win. Alex D'Orio made 24 saves. The Titan are coming off a 5-3 loss in Chicoutimi on Saturday. Vladimir Kuznetsov, Christophe Boivin and Antoine Morand scored for Bathurst. Simon Boudreault-Belzile made 30 saves in the loss.

2016-17 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 0-2-0-0 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 2-0-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Nov. 4 at the KC Irving Regional Centre where the Sea Dogs fell 6-5 to the Titan. Chase Stewart, Thomas Chabot, Matt Green, Bokondji Imama and Mathieu Joseph all scored for Saint John. Jeffrey Truchon-Viel had a natural hat trick for the Titan while Christophe Boivin, Dawson Theede and Luc Deschenes added solo markers. Reilly Pickard made 32 saves in the win. Alex Bishop made 23 stops in the loss.

Random stat: Bathurst is the only team Saint John has lost twice to in regulation time this season.

1. Mathieu Joseph enters play tonight with a league leading 19 goals in 19 games. He is also fourth overall in points with 31.

2. The Titan are only 6-5-1-0 when scoring first this season, which is one of the worst winning percentages in the league (.542). Only Moncton (.400) has been worse.
