Game Day 65: vs Mooseheads

After recording one of their biggest wins of the season last night, the Saint John Sea Dogs (45-13-5-1, 1st Maritimes, 1st QMJHL, 1st CHL)  are back at it today, hosting the Halifax Mooseheads (26-33-2-3, 5th Maritimes, 15th QMJHL) at 7 p.m.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-1 win over the Charlottetown Islanders last night at Harbour Station. Spencer Smallman scored twice while singles came from Mathieu Joseph, Samuel Dove-McFalls and Julien Gauthier. Callum Booth made 27 saves in the win. The Mooseheads are coming off a 3-1 loss in Bathurst last night. Raphael Lavoie scored Halifax's lone goal while Alexis Gravel made 38 saves in the loss.

2016-17 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 4-2-0-0 against the Mooseheads this season while Halifax is 2-4-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: March 1 at Harbour Station where the Sea Dogs defeated the Mooseheads 4-2. Matthew Highmore, Julien Guathier, Spencer Smallman and Bokondji Imama all scored for Saint John. Jared McIsaac and Keigan Goetz scored for Halifax. Alex D'Orio made 27 saves in the win. Alexis Gravel made 22 stops in the loss.
