SYDNEY, NS - The Saint John Sea Dogs announced a long rumoured roster move before Friday's game in Moncton.

The Sea Dogs officially announced the signing of 18-year-old forward Robbie Burt. The Hillsburgh, Ont. native has been with the club for a bit and made his QMJHL debut on Friday in Moncton.

Burt, wearing No. 26, finished Friday's 6-4 Sea Dogs loss in Moncton with a -2 rating, two hits and two penalty minutes.

Burt, selected 11th overall in the 2015 OHL Draft, has spent the past two seasons in the OHL, playing with the Oshawa Generals and Kingston Frontenacs. In 46 games with the Generals last season, Burt recorded seven goals and four assists.
