Game Day 14: vs Screaming Eagles

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs will try - again - to snap their losing streak.

The Sea Dogs lost their sixth straight game - and fifth straight one goal game - last night in a shootout at Harbour Station. Saint John will look to end their streak today, hosting the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at 2 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 3-7-2-1 (9 points, 6th Maritimes, 17th QMJHL) while the Screaming Eagles are 7-5-1-0 (15 points, 3rd Maritimes, 8th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-3 loss on home ice to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens last night. Cole Reginato scored twice while Bailey Webster added a single. Alex D'Orio made 31 saves in the loss. The Screaming Eagles are coming off a wild 7-6 overtime loss on Thursday at Centre 200. Drake Batherson and Mathias Laferriere scored twice while Egor Sokolov and Ross MacDougall had singles. Kyle Jessiman allowed five goals on 12 shots in 40 minutes of action.
