Game Day 42: at Blainville-Boisbriand

BOISBRIAND, Que. - A 2017 President Cup final rematch takes place tonight at the arena-with-a-really-long-name.

The Saint John Sea Dogs will play the second match of a three-game road trip this evening against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. The Sea Dogs began their road trip with a 5-2 loss in Victoriaville last night.

Game time this evening is 8:30 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 11-22-6-2 for 30 points (6th Maritimes, 17th QMJHL) while the Armada are 27-9-2-1 for 57 points (1st West, 2nd QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-2 loss in Victoriaville last night. Cole Reginato and Ben Reid scored for Saint John while Matt Williams made 33 saves in the loss. The Armada are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss in Rimouski on Wednesday. Alex Barre-Boulet and Alexandre Alain scored for the Armada. Mikhail Denisov made 20 stops in the loss.

Saint John's lone goal came from Daniel Hardie. Emile Samson made 27 saves in the win. Alex D'Orio was pulled after allowing five goals on 15 shots. Matt Williams allowed four goals on 19 shots in relief.
